About
Annual memorial stair climb honoring the 403 emergency responders who lost their lives on 9/11. Participants climb 110 flights of stairs at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront to remember fallen firefighters, police, and other first responders, and to support firefighter aid and safety awareness.
Catering & aid stations
Food and beverage options available; beer garden opens at 10:00 AM. Check-in begins at 7:00 AM.
Pacers
Pacemakers set target times per Start Wave (Yellow/Orange/Purple/Green/Pink/Blue/White/Red waves at 8:55–11:45 AM). Pacers display Pacerflaggen to guide participants.

Bring a photo ID and any required wristband or confirmation. Early check-in begins at 7:00 AM.

Set a fundraising goal (suggested $110); top fundraisers receive priority start times. Funds benefit FirefighterAid, a San Diego 501(c)(3) supporting firefighters and families in crisis.
