Catering & aid stations

Aid stations along the course offer water, electrolyte drinks, and light food items. No heavy sit-down service; please carry essentials and be self-sufficient.

Pacers

Pacer groups will lead portions of the 50K, 26K, 17K, and 9K starts according to the published start wave times on race day. Pacers display identifiable flags and aim to help participants maintain target time windows — follow the pace lead and the posted schedule; adhere to trail etiquette when passing.

What is the race day schedule and cutoff times?

Race day starts at 6:15 AM with packet pickup; wave starts begin 7:00–8:45 AM; 50K Cutoff is 4:00 PM. See the event website for the full schedule.

Are pets allowed on course?

No pets are allowed on-course; any pets must be on a leash at all times and respected of park rules.

What is the camp/camping policy?

There is no camping available at San Tan Mountain Regional Park.

What should I do about trash and trail etiquette?

Please dispose of trash at aid stations and stay on designated trails; no short cutting. Follow trail etiquette and be respectful of other runners.

Is music allowed?

If using headphones, be respectful of others; remove earbuds at aid stations, volunteers, or road crossings. No speaker music.

What are the awards and recognition?

Awards to top 3 male & female finishers at each distance; all finishers receive a finisher award and points toward Desert Runner Trail Series.
