About
It started with a run. Steve Hooper was competing on a running scholarship at Utah Valley University logging 10 or 12 miles a day with his cross-country team. Kendra was training for her first half marathon in Moab. When they started dating, Steve would secretly join her for evening runs without mentioning any of that. He'd show up fresh after already putting in a full day of training. One evening Kendra called him out for slowing down alongside her. That's when the truth came out. "Why didn't you tell me?" she asked. He said he thought she wouldn't let him run with her if she knew. She married him anyway.

Aid stations and course/venue catering with water, sports drinks, and light snacks provided at the swim, bike, and run transitions and along the run course.
Pacers
Pace groups are provided on the race day schedule (Renntag for Laufende) with target times per start wave and pacers flagged on the course. Registration materials and the event schedule outline pacers for each split to help athletes stay on pace.
