About
A high-alpine race series in Italy’s Schnalstal Valley offering four distances—VERTICAL (8.3km/1,305m), SPEED, SKY, and ULTRA (58km/3,600m)—plus a Kids Run. It takes place from 30 July to 1 August 2026 in Unser Frau, Schnals (BZ), Italy.
Catering & aid stations
On-course food and drink stations (specific aid-station list not yet published on the site; check the official updates closer to race day).
Pacers
Pacers will be assigned by start wave on race day (source: Renntag aid station pacing and Pacerflaggen). Expect 2–6 pacers depending on the distance; they will run with flagged attire at designated target times per wave.

CAN I HAVE SOMEONE PICK UP MY STARTING DOCUMENTS?
No. The participant must collect the starting documents in person.
CAN I SWITCH TO A SHORTER OR LONGER DISTANCE AFTER REGISTERING?
To switch to a shorter distance, you must book the Flex option when registering. Switching to a longer distance is only possible in exceptional cases - please send us an e-mail to sat@saltytrailrunning.com

CAN I PASS ON MY STARTING TICKET TO ANOTHER PERSON?
No, transfer to a third party is not possible.
CAN I TAKE MY DOG WITH ME ON THE ROUTE?
No, after consultation with the local authorities, dogs are not allowed on the trails to protect the local wildlife.

FOR WHAT ROUTES DO I NEED A MEDICAL CERTIFICATE?
