Will this really take 100 hours?
That's eighty minutes per mile. The event allows flexible pacing with no strict cutoff as long as you keep moving and retreat safely from technical choices; aim to reach the finish within 100 hours.
Are there elective peaks or mandatory routes?
There are elective peaks you may choose based on comfort level; you need a total of six units worth of electives to qualify for a full finish. Checkpoints are mandatory but visit order is up to you.
What counts toward my finish?
Your score is the total number of control points reached within 100 hours. If you skip part but finish under your own power in time, the finish location counts as another control point.
