About

A hill running event in the Scottish mountains run at sunset into the night, featuring short (6.5km) and long (11.5km) courses on compact piste snow with timed trophy categories and a festive après氛围.

Catering & aid stations

On-course Verpflegung at aid stations (not pacemaker lines).

Pacers

Pacemakers will be present on both short and long course with target times indicated by start wave and pacer flags; they run alongside participants for motivation and pacing guidance.

FAQ

What equipment is mandatory?

Head torch with spare battery, full-body thermal base layer, waterproof over-trousers and jacket, thermal gloves, hat, trail shoes with crampons (no track spikes or mountaineering boots), whistle, navigation device, and an emergency survival bag.

Is registration still open?

Registration closes 25 February 2026 or at 250 participants, whichever comes first.

Where can I collect my race number?

Race number collection is at the Glenshee Ski Station between 14:00 and 16:30 on race day.

What is included in the entry fee?

Trophy for category winners and a commemorative Snow Running pendant.
