About
The Sundried Southend Triathlon, hosted by JBR Run & Tri Club and RTC Events, offers sprint, standard, aqua bike, team relay and duathlon options with a coastal swim, chip timing, large water safety team and a red carpet finish.
Catering & aid stations
On-course hydration and energy stations available during the bike and run; dedicated transition zone with secure storage.
Pacers
Pacemakers will be provided for the standard distance and relay (waves 06:30–06:45) and sprint/aquabike (waves 06:45–07:00). Pacers display event flags and target split times per wave to help runners maintain goal pace.

However, we do not offer deferrals to future events. This is clearly outlined in our Terms and Conditions, which all participants agree to during the registration process. Organising a triathlon involves significant upfront planning, fixed costs, and limited entry numbers. Allowing deferrals would compromise our ability to deliver a safe, high-quality event for everyone involved. To give participants flexibility, we offer <strong>Event Cancellation Insurance at the time of booking<\/strong>. This optional protection allows you to reclaim your entry fee in certain circumstances beyond your control — and is one of the reasons we don’t offer deferrals after booking is complete. That said, you may still have the option to <strong>transfer your entry<\/strong> or <strong>withdraw<\/strong>, depending on the timeframes and terms laid out in our entry conditions.
