The official home of the Boston qualifying Fredericton Marathon — a premier road race in Atlantic Canada offering marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K and youth fun run events with a strong community focus.
Catering & aid stations
On-course hydration and light food/energy options are available at aid stations along the course; a dedicated Cola station for marathoners is located past the 37k mark. Solid food vendors and specific menu details are not provided by the race.
Pacers
Pace runners (Pacerflaggen) will be provided for the 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon distances, announced on the race-day start corrals (10K, 21.1k, 42.2k).

Is the Fredericton Marathon 42.2k course certified as a Boston Marathon qualifying course?
A. Yes. Registrations may be transferred to another event or to another runner no later than April 20, 2026, 11:59 pm (NO EXCEPTIONS). Transfers online before April 20, 2026, 11:59 pm will incur a $5 charge plus any difference in price if the event you transfer to is more. After this date, you may transfer only at Race Kit Pick-Up Friday and Saturday for a $15 charge plus any difference in price if the event you transfer to is more. No refund will be issued if you switch to a lower priced event. Registered using a promo code and want to transfer?
Please share a copy of your receipt with support@raceroster.com and indicate the new event you wish to run in or the new runner’s email you wish to transfer your registration to. Registered without a promo code? All other transfers can be completed using the transfer button until the transfer deadline of April 20, 2026. Q3.
