About

A charity winter fun run where everyone dresses as Santa, organized by the association Together we make a change. All proceeds go directly to charity, with routes of 3 km and 6 km through central Stockholm.

Catering & aid stations

Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event, though selection will be limited.

Pacers

Pacemakers will be present to help runners maintain their target times. Refer to the event’s pace groups on the race day schedule for specific pacer flags and start waves.

How does the race work, what’s the distance, and how long is it?

Choose to complete one or two laps of our 3/6k course. Start and finish are in Kungsträdgården by the main stage When does the race start? Gathering in Kungsträdgården at 11:00, and the race starts shortly after. How do I register? Tickets are available on www.stockholmsantarun.com and Billetto Will Stockholm Santa Run take place in other cities in Sweden? We would love to bring Santa Run to other cities, but since we’re a small team doing this entirely on a voluntary basis, we unfortunately can’t do it at the moment. If you’re interested in helping us make this happen, please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you! How do I register and what’s included? Register on Billetto, choose a ticket with or without a Santa costume. All participants receive a medal and a Sthlm Santa Run bag. When is the race? Sunday, December 6, 2026. Where and when can I pick up my Santa costume? Collect your start kit in Kungsträdgården, at Jussi-Paviljongen (Next to the main stage) 5 December 2025 Between 09:00 and 15:00. What if I can’t pick up my kit on December 5th? Ideally, collect it on the specified date. If not possible, pick it up in the morning of the race, December 6, 9:00 – 10:30 at Jussipaviljongen, Kungsträdgården. What if I don’t buy a Santa costume from Stockholm Santa Run? Not mandatory; you’re welcome to get one on your own. How do you go about handing in clothes, changing clothes and showering?

We recommend that you come in the clothes you plan to run in, as we unfortunately do not have facilities for changing or showering. There will be no option to leave bags or personal belongings, so we encourage everyone to bring as little as possible. Where exactly in Kungsträdgården is the gathering?

Everyone gathers at the main stage at 11:00. Can I bring my pet? Yes, Stockholm Santa Run is for everyone, including pets. What’s the age requirement? All ages are welcome. Participants under 14 must be accompanied by a guardian, and all children must register for safety. Can my friends and family come to watch? Certainly, we love supporters! Just stay off the course for safety.I use a wheelchair – can I participate in the race? What is the accessibility like?

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, but the selection will be limited. How do I get to Kungsträdgården?

Walk from Central Station or take the blue metro line, bus, or Tvärbana to Kungsträdgården. Is there timing for the race? No, in Stockholm Santa Run, we’re all winners! Is there bag storage? No, unfortunately, there’s no bag storage on-site. Where can I change into my Santa costume? We recommend wearing your costume to Kungsträdgården or putting it on over your outerwear. What if I bought a ticket but can’t attend? You can add cancellation protection at ticket purchase. Transferring the ticket to someone else is possible via Billetto. Read more HERE. Can someone else pick up my kit/costume? Yes, they need your ticket, and if you’re a student, show a student ID + ID. Do I need to print my ticket? No, you can show your ticket by downloading Billetto’s app for iOS and Android. I can’t participate; can I donate money instead? Yes, choose donation when buying a ticket or swish any amount to 123 095 7167 (Together We Make A Change). Can I pay with Swish? Yes, you can pay via Swish or Klarna.
