A fun and inclusive trail running festival in Stromlo Forest Park, Canberra, offering multiple distances from 2.5k kids to marathon with ITRA/UTMB accreditation, supporting community and conservation.

Where is the event hub?

Stromlo Forest Park, Opperman, Stromlo.

Is there on-site parking?

Yes — the new carpark provides 487 spaces, including a free 15-minute drop-off zone, motorbike parking, longer vehicle parking and accessible parking.

Are there amenities at the event hub?

Yes — there are bathroom facilities, showers and the Handlebar Cafe for light refreshments.

Can we camp the night before?

No camping on site; nearest camp ground is Cotter Campground.

Are there minimum ages to participate?

Yes — check the age categories page for details.

Are there cut-off times for runners?

Yes — 2.5/5/10/15km: no cut-off; 30km: 6 hours; Marathon: 8 hours.

Is this suitable for kids?

Yes — children (with optional accompanying adult) can run the 2.5km; ages 7–12 can run 5km with a registered adult; over-13s can run 5km or 10km solo.

Are there medals?

Yes — everyone who finishes their event gets a medal, even the kids.

Are there shirts?

Participants who registered before 30 June 2026 receive a free event shirt; shirts available for collection on event weekend (unclaimed shirts will be recycled).
