Max Busch, Hans-Dieter Klocke und Sönke Friedrich wurden jeweils für 50 Jahre im VfB geehrt. Sönke Friedrich war nicht anwesend. Desweiteren wurde Dörte Schönheid für 25 Jahre im VfB geehrt. How do I register for the Südseitenlauf?
Register exclusively online via www.stgk.de; no on-site registration is possible.
What is the registration fee for the 5 km and 10 km runs?
Standard fee: 12 € for adults; reduced fee: 6 € for students/youth; 4 € for Race for Kids. Fees vary by category; see the Preis section per distance.
Is there a firmen-cup option?
Yes; teams of up to three runners per club/company can enter the firmen-cub for 5 km and 10 km with shared ranking by the third finisher.
Are there age categories and prizes?
Yes; both 5 km and 10 km are timed and awarded places in youth and senior categories; certificates for top finishers and team prizes for firmen-cup.
Can I register on the day of the race?
No; registration closes at 24:00 on 08.06.2026. There is a 15 € late fee for on-site registration if allowed; early registration is recommended.
