About

A scenic forest running race in the Taunus hills above Oberursel featuring trails with about 585 m of elevation change. Organized by TSG Oberursel with electronic timing and multiple age categories. Includes options for supporting participants and on-course refreshments at the finish.

Catering & aid stations

No food or drinks on the course. Drinks are provided at the finish area on the plateau. Please bring weather-appropriate clothing for the plateau as conditions can be cool and windy.

Pacers

Pacers will be present with pacer flags according to start waves published on the race day schedule (see Renntag für Laufende). Follow pacer groups for your target time; pacers help with steady pacing and course guidance.

FAQ

What is the registration deadline and late fee?

Online registration closes 15.04.2026 24:00. After that, late registration is possible until 09:30 on race day at the FIS Primary School with a €25 fee for adults (youth late fee €20).

Where can I pick up my start number?

Start numbers are issued from 08:30 in the Sporthalle of the Frankfurt International School (FIS), Alfred-Lechler-Straße 10, 61440 Oberursel/Ts.

Are there toilets and changing facilities?

Toilets are available in the TIZ (1st floor) at the start. No changing rooms or showers at the site; showers are available at the TSG Oberursel facility (Korfstr. 4) for a fee.

What is the route like?

The course is about 9.7 km, mostly on forest paths with around 585 m of elevation change. The route is well-marked with blue arrows and distance markers on trees or buildings.

Is there any transport after the race?

Yes, several buses are provided from the finish plateau back to the FIS Primary School. Please board promptly to help shuttle buses return quickly for following participants.
