One of New Zealand’s longest-standing events set on the stunning Lake Taupō waterfront, offering marathon, half-marathon, 10km, 5km and kids dash options with AIMS-certified courses and spectacular lakefront scenery.
Drink stations stocked with water and R-Line electrolyte; some stations also have lollies and fruit. Coffee/tea not mentioned.
Pacers are announced on the start line for each start wave on race day (see schedule below): Marathon waves depart 7:45am, Half Marathon waves at 7:45am, 10km runners at 11:20am, 5km runners at 12:30pm, Kids Dash at 12:00pm.

Marathon: 21km (Te Ātea aid station) 11:45pm; 30.3km (Tawhaa Road carpark) 1:30pm; finish 4:00pm. Half Marathon, 10km and 5km cut-offs are set at 1.5–2 hours into their respective starts; see schedule on race page.
Cups are provided at aid stations, but to reduce environmental impact you are encouraged to bring your own bottle, cup or hydration pack; refills are available.
Children aged 14 and under must have prior approval and must be accompanied by an adult on course; the Kids Dash allows registered children to be accompanied by an adult who need not be separately entered.
