The Baslow Bolt is a 13.2km Category BM fell race through woodland and pasture on the baslow skyline, featuring approximately 400m of ascent. It is a revival of the historic Baslow fell race and part of the Outside Winter Race Series.

No water or drinks provided on course — refreshments at the finish. On-course Verpflegung listed as "gute lokale Verpflegung" (local catering) at the school and finish.

The event is a winter FRA Medium B fell race. Pacemaker/Pacer details: mass start (faster runners self-select a position nearer the front). Target times per Startwelle and Pacerflaggen are set per FRA rules; runners should carry FRA mandatory minimum kit and adhere to FRA runner rules.
