About
A scenic half marathon through Berkeley that takes runners down historic Telegraph Avenue, around the Cal campus, and through the vibrant North Berkeley and Fourth Street districts, finishing in Civic Center Park with a festive post-race celebration.
Catering & aid stations
Water, hydration electrolyte drink, and/or gel are available at 7 water stops along the course. Post-finish sustenance includes food in the chute, beer garden beverages (must be 21 to enter), and the finish line festival.
Pacers
Pacers will be provided for the Half Marathon and 10K. For the Half Marathon, target times per corral will be published on race day along with pacer flags at the start. Pacer groups aim to help runners achieve their target pace and finish within the respective time windows; follow the pacer flag that matches your estimated finish time at the start line.

FAQ
What is the course cutoff time?
All Half Marathon participants must finish within 4 hours (18:20 per mile pace). The Finish Line closes promptly at 12:00 pm; late arrivals are not official finishers.
What are the age divisions for awards?
Awards are presented to top three overall men, women, and nonbinary+ finishers, plus wooden medallions for top three in each age division: 19 & under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+.
Are there loyalty perks?
Yes. Runners who register for 3 or more consecutive years receive a Loyal Runner hat in addition to the participant shirt. Eligibility requires consistent name and DOB across registrations.
What is the registration and refund policy?
Registration is via Raceroster. Run Sure Refunds add-on (100% refund through July 15, 2025; 50% through August 15, 2026) must be added at original registration. Results maps and photos are available after the event.
