Start waves begin at the Bowling Green from 6:00 PM, with the start line opening at 6:30 PM and closing at 8:00 PM. Event is rain or shine; dress for the weather and arrive early to avoid the rush.

FAQ
Do I have to run to participate?
Absolutely not! This event is super non-competitive, so we encourage you to run or walk to bond as a team but spectators are also welcome to come and cheer in Battersea Park!
Will you have a Bag Drop?
There will be a small bag drop at the event but we expect this to be very busy so please avoid bringing bags if possible or bring a spectator to watch bags!
Can we register as a team?
Please do! You can register multiple teammates at once using our ticketing system with no team limit. Your company name will be your team!
When will the running start?
We’ll start welcoming Teams to the Bowling Green from 6PM. The Start line will open at 6.30PM and close at 8PM (to try to arrive early to avoid a rush!)
Will the race go ahead if it’s raining?
Rain or shine we’ll be ready to welcome your team so make sure to dress appropriate for the weather!

When will I receive my run results?
If you’re feeling fast and want to check your time, you’ll find it on our race website sent to you ahead of the race.
How is this different from a recruiter?
Recruiters work for themselves — they’re incentivised to place anyone and charge you upfront regardless of outcome. Jumpstart is a self-serve marketplace. You browse pre-vetted candidates directly, request interviews yourself, and only pay a 15% fee of first-year salary after 90 days if you’re happy.
How do you vet candidates?
We receive 5,000+ applications every month. Every candidate goes through a CV screen, a startup-specific interview, and a case study before they’re admitted to the platform. Only the top 1% make it through. By the time you see a profile, the filtering is already done.
What roles do you cover?
Jumpstart covers five streams: Generalists, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Associates and Software Engineers. All are early to mid-career (1–5 years experience), pre-vetted, and actively looking for their next startup role.
How quickly can I hire?
63% of startups on Jumpstart make a hire within a month of joining. Candidates are active and ready to interview — there’s no waiting for a recruiter to build a shortlist. Browse live profiles today and request interviews instantly.
What does Jumpstart cost?
It’s completely free to join, browse candidates, post roles, and book interviews. You only pay a 15% placement fee if you’re happy with your hire after 90 days. If they don’t pass probation, you don’t pay a penny.
What if the hire doesn't work out?
Only 9% of Jumpstarters fail to pass probation due to performance-related issues. We only charge if you’re happy with your hire after 90 days, so if they aren’t the right fit, you won’t pay a penny.
