About

The Brutal Extreme Triathlon — swim, bike and run around Llyn Padarn and up Snowdon in North Wales — has been voted the world’s toughest triathlon. The event is renowned for its low-key, friendly vibe with massive support for every athlete.

Catering & aid stations

Food and drink available from a catering van from 05:00 until late on race day. On-course aid stations: Torq Sports Nutrition, flapjack, cheese scones, bananas, biscuits, jellybabies, water, coke and flapjack (one on the bike ~mile 14, one on the run ~2.5 miles, and one at HQ).

Pacers

Pacemaker groups run with athletes on the Duathlon Double and Triple distances only. Follow the designated pacers listed in the race start order and wear the provided pacer bib; on the bike, ride at the pacers’ pace and stay within drafting distance. On the run, pacers maintain an easy conversational pace and aid with hills; respect pacers and fellow athletes.
