About

The Chatham Turkey Trot, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit that hosts a 1‑mile family fun run and a USA Track & Field certified 5K on Thanksgiving Day in Chatham Township, raising funds for local first responders, veterans, diabetes research and related community organizations.

Catering & aid stations

No on-course restrooms; plan ahead. No pets allowed for safety.

Pacers

Pacemakers will be present for the 5K, aligned with the official start wave times published on the race day schedule (Renntag). Expect multiple pacers flagged on the course with pace-group signage to help runners maintain target times.

No, the event does not time runners, though there are two race clocks along the route for reference.

Where can I park?

You may only park on the following side streets: Mohawk, Rockledge or Ramapo Trails, located below Van Houton Avenue. Do not park along the racecourse.
