About

Saturday 26th September 2026. A 10k, half or full marathon run or walk in the beautiful Dorset countryside. The undulating routes are almost exclusively off-road and, whilst being challenging, allow competitors to be rewarded with the fantastic local scenery. New for 2026 there's also a marathon relay option where you can take part in teams of up to 4, plus a designated canicross category.

Catering & aid stations

Stall located at the finish area offering drinks, snacks, and light meals. More details on course support in the event documentation.

Pacers

Pacers will be provided for the Marathon and Half Marathon Startwaves. Pacers are intended to help runners maintain a steady pace. Specific target times per Startwave and Pacerflaggen details are available on the registration page and in the event documentation.

FAQ

What time does the event start?

Start times vary by distance: 10k at 08:00, Half Marathon at 08:15, Marathon and Marathon Relay at 08:00. Check the schedule page for detailed startwaves.

Is there an age limit?

Yes. Marathon and Marathon Relay require entrants to be 18 or older on race day (26/09/2026). Under-18s may be allowed in 10k and Half Marathon with parental consent—see registration info.

What is the time limit for the Marathon?

A 10-hour time limit applies. All Marathon runners must reach Hardy’s Monument checkpoint by 12:45pm to continue.

Are there aid stations?

Yes. Drinks, snacks, and light meals are available at the finish and along the course at designated aid stations.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, the Canicross category is available. For other categories, please check current rules on the registration page.
