About

A classic mountain navigation race in the Lake District, organised by the Lakeland Mountain and Trailrunning Association. It is one of the longest-established fell-running events in Great Britain, testing route choice, navigation, and stamina over severe mountain terrain.

Catering & aid stations

Hot and cold refreshments included at the finish; on-course water/tea/coffee and biscuits at checkpoints (not Pacemaker lines).

Pacers

For official pacers: the event uses an age-group start wave system published on the 'Renntag für Laufende' page with target times per wave. All participants must dib at each checkpoint; pacers wear identifiable bibs and must follow race rules. Use a SI-card or SIAC at every control—clocking is required at start, checkpoints, and finish.
