About
A fun community race held on Horsell Common, Surrey, with proceeds supporting local charities. The route passes the historic sandpits from H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds and is organised entirely by volunteers.
Catering & aid stations
Water stations and basic aid provided on course; volunteers support at checkpoints.
Pacers
Pacemakers will lead groups at each start wave shown on the day plan (Renntag für Laufende). Pacers display Pacerflaggen and aim to help runners maintain target times; follow the colour-coded pace packs for your start time and stay with your pacer group through the course.
