About

A community fun run founded by former Pittsburgh Mayor Richard S. Caliguiri in 1977, now the largest 10K race in Pennsylvania. The event includes a 10K, 5K, and Dollar Bank Junior Great Race, with proceeds supporting the Richard S. Caliguiri Amyloidosis Fund.

Water stations along the course; Finish Line Festival with food vendors in Point State Park.

Pacers

Pacers set target times per Startwelle on the Race and Finish map at the event. Look for the Pacer flag on the course and at the start/finish. Pacers are provided to help runners maintain their desired pace.

FAQ

What is the race route?

The 10K and 5K courses are predominantly downhill and travel along Forbes Avenue, Fifth Avenue and Boulevard of the Allies before finishing in Point State Park. The 10K begins in Frick Park at Beechwood Boulevard, and the 5K starts at Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street in Oakland.

Are there aid stations?

Yes, there are water stations along the course and a Finish Line Festival with food vendors in Point State Park.

What is the registration fee used for?

Registration fees support the Richard S. Caliguiri Amyloidosis Fund, held by the Pittsburgh Foundation, which funds medical research.
