Thermal Trail Race is a trail running event starting from the Aveanu Betfia parking area in Baile 1 Mai, featuring scenic routes through the forested hills of Bihor with competitive Cross and Mini distance options.

Catering & aid stations

Water stations along the course; finish area with refreshments.

Pacers

Pacers will be present with pacer flags at both the Cross 14km and Mini 7km start waves, providing target split times displayed at the start/finish area to help runners maintain desired pace.

What are the age requirements for each distance?

Minimum age is 16 for the Cross 14km and 12 for the Mini 7km. Participants under 18 require written parental consent.

When and where can I pick up my race kit?

Race kits can be picked up on Saturday, 30 May 2026 between 9:40 and 11:30 at the Start/Finish area near Avenul Betfia parking.

Is there a fee for transferring my entry to another person?

Transfers to another runner or distance changes are allowed until 20 May 2026 with a processing fee of 25 EUR.

What is the refund policy if I cannot attend?

Registration fees can be refunded up to 10 May 2026, minus a 25 EUR administrative fee. No refunds after the cut-off unless your entry is transferred.
