About
The Thoroughbred Run Kildare is an annual Father’s Day event taking place at the Irish National Stud, offering a scenic course through the stud and surrounding areas. It has become a highlight of the racing and running calendar, attracting families and participants for a festive day of running and celebration.
Catering & aid stations
Water stations are located approx. every 3 miles. No on-course showers. Bag drop available (unsecured, no valuables).
Pacers
Pacers will be present with flagged pacer vehicles: Marathon — 0800 hrs (Tully Road start, separate from Half Marathon); Half Marathon — 1030 hrs; 10K — 1040 hrs; 5K — 1055 hrs. Pacer groups aligned to listed start times on the day.

FAQ
What are the race start times and start locations?
Marathon — 0800 hrs on Tully Road (near finish). Half Marathon — 1030 hrs at Rowanville estate. 10K — 1040 hrs beside Kildare Railway Station. 5K — 1055 hrs at Kildare Education Centre, Friary Road.
Where do I collect my race number?
If you did not choose postal collection, numbers are available on both Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st; times and locations are emailed in your race information.
Can I change my race distance?
Yes, changes must be made the week before race day by emailing timing@justrunsevents.ie. After that, changes can be made at race headquarters on-site with a €5 fee.
Are there toilets and water stations?
Yes, there are portable toilets and water stations approximately every 3 miles. No shower facilities are available.
Where can I park on the day?
Please refer to your race information email for the location of all car parks; all are within walking distance of start/finish areas.
Where are the results and route maps?
Results stream live at www.justrunsevents.ie. Route maps are available via the ‘Routes’ tab on the website.
