About

Mt Van Hoevenberg’s Summer Community Race Series — a weekly, all-levels trail run and mountain bike race series on varied courses in the Northern Adirondacks, Southern Adirondacks, and Catskills. Runs and bike races start at 6:00–6:05 pm most Thursday evenings from June through August.

Catering & aid stations

Stall with light snacks and drinks available at the Mountain Pass Lodge; participants advised to bring additional water.

Pacers

Pacers will be present for the 5 km run and 10 km bike pacers will set target times per start wave shown on the event schedule at the bottom of the race page; pacer flags will be displayed on course.

FAQ

Is there a fee to participate?

No fee for season pass holders and participants under 12; otherwise $5 per race for runners or bikers, or $25 for the 10-race series. One-time $5 bib fee (reused all series).

What should I bring?

Bring a printed or digital bib (reused each week), water, appropriate clothing, and a smile. Rentals and assistance available at registration.

Can I switch between bike and run during a race?

Yes, but you must register for both disciplines in advance if you plan to switch; notify officials at check-in.
