A spring trail race in the Vosges offering 12 km and 23 km courses that traverse scenic, technical forest paths with rolling hills—delivering a moderately challenging and highly engaging mountain/trail experience.

Catering & aid stations

Water and sports drinks at aid stations; limited soft drinks at the finish. No full meals served on course; use the drink stations. Event T-shirt and finisher medal provided.

Pacers

Pacemakers will be present for the 12 km and 23 km races, with start waves aligned to target times published on the Renntag schedule. Flag-bearing pacers will help runners maintain target splits; registrants should reference their assigned start wave at the Renntag area.

What should I bring to the race?

Bring a photo ID for bib collection, your race number (if assigned in advance), comfortable race attire, and weather-appropriate gear. Hydration packs or handheld bottles are useful; energy gels/softs are up to you.

Is registration online or on-site?

Pre-registration is online through the official site (link above). On-site registration is available the morning of the race for an additional €4, subject to quota.

Are pacers allowed?

Yes, designated pacers will be present for the 12 km and 23 km races with start waves aligned to published target times. They display pacer flags to help runners maintain target splits.

What are the age categories and rules about FFA licenses?

The junior categories allow younger runners on both the 12 km and 23 km courses. A FFA license is accepted for competition; other participants should ensure they have the required PPS documentation per event rules.
