When does registration open?

How/Where do I register?

Register through the Triathlon Ireland site. A Triathlon Ireland licence or one-day membership is required.

Do I need a race licence?

Yes, a race licence or one-day licence/membership is required. GB Triathlon licences can be used; contact Triathlon Ireland for licences from other countries.

What is the course like?

Swim: two laps in Eskragh Lough (picturesque lake). Bike: fast 3-loop rolling course (56 miles / 90 km, 476 m elevation). Run: very flat and fast 2-loop course.

Can I swim/train in advance at Eskragh Lough?

No. The lake and facilities are privately owned; unauthorised swimming is strictly prohibited. Swim practices are published in advance on social media.

Where can I stay?

Accommodation can be found via Mid Ulster District Council site. Camping or overnight stays at the race venue are not available.

Where is Race HQ and the start/finish?

TriTyrone is based at Eskragh Lough, 109 Old Ballygawley Rd, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, BT70 1TA.

Is there a waiting list?

No. If sold out, there is no waiting list. Refunds may release on 1 May on a first-come basis.

I can’t race — can I get a refund?

Refunds are available until 30 April with a €10 admin fee. Email trityrone70.3@gmail.com with your name and Triathlon Ireland licence number.

Transfers and deferrals?

Transfers can be made via Triathlon Ireland up to 30 May. No deferrals or further amendments after 30 April; merchandise sizes cannot be changed after this date.

What if the race is cancelled (e.g., Covid)?

A full refund will be issued to all participants if the race is cancelled by the organisers.
