The Trofeo Kima is a landmark skyrunning event held in Val Masino, Sondrio, Italy, featuring extremely technical terrain over 52 km with 8,400 m of elevation gain. Known as one of the world’s most spectacular mountain races, it attracts elite runners and operates with a capped field of 400 participants for safety.

FAQ

What are the ITRA points requirements for registration?

Minimum ITRA points: 650 for men, 500 for women. Proof must be provided via the ITRA certificate during registration.

Is there a registration deadline and refund policy?

Pre-registrations close on February 16. Refunds equal to 60% of the entry fee are available in case of injury until July 1.

What is the entry fee for FISky-registered athletes?

Early promotional fee: €45.00 (until June 30, 2026); Final fee: €60.00 (from July 1, 2026 to August 20, 2026). FISky-registered athletes pay €105.

Are there aid stations and medical support?

Yes. Aid stations provide water, tea, supplements, and food at key refuges. Medical assistance is available at every refuge and along the course; the medical team can require an athlete to retire and hand over their bib.

What technical features should I expect?

The course includes fixed ropes, snow, exposed ledges, steep slopes, and stony terrain. The full course is marked with Sentiero Roma white-red-white signage and orange flags; deviating from the marked course may lead to disqualification.
