About
The Toowoomba Road Runners Murphys Creek Challenge offers a 7km walk/run, 14km and 21.1km half marathon set in scenic Queensland bushland. The event features an out-and-back course on mostly dirt roads and 4WD tracks with undulating terrain and multiple water/aid stations.
Catering & aid stations
Water and refreshments available at the start and finish area. There are 3 water stops on course (at each turnaround point and at the 5km mark). Participants are encouraged to bring their own water and sun protection. No dogs, prams, horses, bikes and scooters permitted.
Pacers
Pacers will be present with Pacerflaggen for the half marathon and 14km events. Target times per Startwelle are indicated on the start/finish timetable: half marathon and 14km share a common turnaround at the 7km mark on Penderest Road; 7km runners turnaround at the 3.5km mark.
