A scenic, fast, traffic-free 10-mile or 20-mile race through Milton Keynes countryside, organised by Dirt Running under Trail Running Association license.
On-course aid stations. Mobile coffee van selling hot and cold drinks and snacks before and after the race. Benugo Bar & Kitchen at Willen Lake open from 08:00. Water and Coke available at the finish.
Chip timing with disposable timing chips. Pacers listed on the race-day schedule (Renntag für Laufende) by start wave; look for Pacer flagg on course.

Runners must be at least 17 years old to run the 10-mile race, and 18 years old to run the 20-mile race.
Changes before the end of February...You can change details or event distance by logging into your dirtrunning.eventrac.co.ukChanges during March...If you want to change from the 20-mile to the 10-mile distance, you don't need to do anything. Simply run one lap, and your result will automatically be adjusted to the 10-mile distance.If you wish to change from the 10-mile to the 20-mile, go to the Race HQ and pay £7.50, and they will allocate you a new bib number.
Yes, if you enter the 20-mile event and only run one lap (10 miles), you will still receive a finisher t-shirt, medal, and a 10-mile time on the results.
The course is multi-terrain with about 80% on cycle paths with some gravel paths and the remainder on the canal towpath. We recommend you wear your normal running trainers. Runners should expect some uneven paths.
Of course, you are also welcome to raise money for a charity of your choice by asking people to sponsor you for the race, in which case you will need to contact your chosen charity for a sponsor form or to set up an online sponsorship page.You can make a donation to Willen Hospice during the registration process.
Yes, this is a predominantly flat course and suitable for beginners.
Yes, you can transfer your place to someone else before the end of February. You can make the change [ HERE ]. Once the new runner has registered, signed the waiver, and paid the entry price the original entrant will receive a refund minus the original booking fee. No further changes can be made after this date.
Yes, you can change from 20 miles to 10 miles and visa versa by logging into your account here dirtrunning.eventrac.co.uk
No. Any runner found running with a number in another runner’s name or without a valid entry will be disqualified and may be banned from future events. This is in accordance with UKA guidelines.
We will have regular Aid Stations.Aid Stations: Mile 3, 6.5, 10, 13, 16.5, and at the finishAid Stations will offer water in cups.There will be water and coke at the finish.
The time limit to complete the 10-mile or 20-mile race will be 5 hours. This is based on 15 min/mile pace.If a 20-mile runner does not reach the halfway point in 2.5 hours then they will be asked to withdraw from the race.
Enter before the end of February and you can collect your bib in advance of the event. Details to follow.Enter during March to have your number ready for collection at the Race HQ.
Your iTab will automatically be posted to you after the event. You do not need to do anything.
We often welcome runners from overseas to our races. You may enter online and will need to collect your running number from the Race HQ on the day of the event. The Race HQ will open at 07:00.
The race is being run under UKA rules and has permits from the Trail Running Association. The course is approximately the distance stated or slightly longer. This also assumes that the runner is following the race line at all times.

We do not recommend the use of personal MP3 players on the course as you need to be aware of other runners and to hear marshals instructions. If you do wear headphones then it’s at your own risk.
Safety pins will be available from the Race HQ.

Yes, we will be selling bobble hats (£10) and hoodies (£30) at the Race HQ.
Yes, there is a booking fee of 6.56% + 25p which goes directly to Eventrac to cover card processing for all entries.

If you have misplaced your bib number, replacement bibs can be purchased at the info desk for £7.50. Your original bib will be cancelled.
