About
Ultra Perth is a fast, flat riverfront ultra running event on the Swan Canal Pathway and along the Perth City streets, held along the Swan River in South Perth and featuring elite fields on a certified AIMS course.
Catering & aid stations
Five fully manned aid stations provide water, Coke, Tailwind, crisps, lollies and in-season fruit. Between these are four hydration stations.
Pacers
Pacemaker lines are formed in each wave: faster runners should line up in earlier waves to ensure a clear path. Steady and social runners should choose later waves to enjoy a comfortable rhythm. Use wave start times listed on the distance pages—elites start at 7:40am, with subsequent waves at 7:43am and 7:46am.

Do I need to make my own way to the venue?
Yes, you need to make your own way to Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth. Public transport options include trains and buses; check Transperth for details.
What happens if I can’t finish?
If you’re unable to finish, head to the nearest aid station for support. After the cut-off times, access roads may close; please follow marshal instructions.
Can I walk the event?
Walking is not permitted on the course. The event is for registered runners only.
Can I drop off baggage?
Yes, drop bags are permitted for 50K runners and 21K Elite runners at all aid stations. Label bags with your bib number, name, and aid station.
Are there toilets available?
Toilets are available at the venue (Ultra Perth Village) and at each aid station.
Is there parking available?
On-site parking is limited; public transport is recommended. Car parks are available at Burswood and South Perth.
What time is the finish?
The finish for all distances is approximately 4:00pm on race day at the finish area at Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth.
Can I register as a team for the 50K Relay?
Yes—50K Relay Duo and Teams options are available during registration.
