The Viriat Marathon Relais is a festive team relay in its 32nd edition, combining running, cycling and walking. The 42.195 km course is completed as a team of six, with each runner covering 6 km and a final 6 km run for the full team. Set in Viriat, the event promotes sport, pleasure and solidarity.

FAQ
What are the registration options and prices?
Registration is online only and must be made via the team registration form. The fee is 81 € per team. Late registration and on-site registration are not available. Payment can be made by card, check or bank transfer via the platform.
Who can participate?
Open to everyone — companies, associations, clubs, families and friends. Teams are mixed-gender (EQX), women-only (EQF) and men-only (EQM) categories are recognized. Youth (ages 7–15) can enter the kids’ race on site. Minimum age for the relay is 16 (born 2010 or earlier); 16–18 year-olds must provide a parental authorization.
What are the key timings on race day?
Friday 12 June: bib pickup 16:00–19:00. Saturday 13 June: bib pickup 12:00–13:30; shuttle to start; race start 14:00; kids’ race start ~14:45; awards and podium 15:45; festive meal from 19:45 (adult 12 €, child 6 €).
What are the rules for relays and pacing?
Each team of six runners completes 6 km legs; the final 6 km is run by the full team together. A 18:30 cut-off applies for the last leg to clear the course before the 19:30 road closure. Pacemakers and target times are shown on race day (Renntag) by Startwelle and Pacerflaggen.
