Anna Pencheva-Taparkova: master of Sports in Mountaineering. Organizer of the Tour of Vitosha 100km. Since 1983, she has sent thousands of participants to the start and celebrated with them when they arrive at the finish line. Set a record for penetrating the deepest cave in the world, Gouffre Berger, France (1122 m) in 1969, and the Pierre Saint Martin abyss (1332 m) in 1973.
Catering & aid stations
Water refill stations at each checkpoint; competitors must carry their own bottle/cup. No additional on-course food service.
Pacers
Pacers set target times per start wave posted in the "Start/Final" schedule at the race site and carry pacers flags; refer to the timetable on race day for wave-specific targets.

When and where is the event?
The event takes place on 27–28 June 2026 with Start/Final in front of Boyana Residence, Sofia (GPS 42°39’18.4"N 23°16’37.5"E).
What disciplines are offered and what is the distance?
100 km running, 100 km cycling, and 100 km duathlon. All share the same 9-stage route around Vitosha Mountain.
How much does it cost and what is included?
Registration fees are 40€ for running and cycling, 50€ for duathlon (early period). Entry includes mountain insurance during the race.
What should I bring and what support is available?
Bring a charged mobile, personal ID number for payment, and own water bottle/cup (no single-use bottles provided). Checkpoints provide water refills. Pacers and timing are provided; follow the marked route and marshals’ instructions.
