Join Trail Running Escapes in the Red Rocks of Sedona for the Vortex Ultra Experience — a multi-distance trail event celebrating Earth Day with trail running, community, and desert scenery.

Catering & aid stations

All aid stations stocked with Skratch electrolyte mix and water; Pepsi and Ginger ale available. All stations offer GU energy gels, Skratch bars, Energy Chews, salty snacks, bananas and more. This is a cupless race — you must carry a handheld bottle for hydration or wear a pack; you can refill at the start line.

Pacers

Pacers will be available at designated start waves per the Runner’s Guide. Refer to the event website for exact pacer flags and pickup locations (e.g., Girdner TH at Miles 34 & 42 for 34M and 50M; specific cutoff times apply).
