“Watchtree Nature Reserve a Wildlife Haven and Community Asset for All.” The limited company title – ‘Watchtree Nature Reserve Ltd.’ encompasses all that we do, which includes the reserve itself, Watchtree Wheelers, our Educational Services, the Café and our many associated events such as trail runs and health walks. We are a registered charity with the following objectives:

Pacemakers will be available on the day, aligned with the published start wave times listed in the Renntag schedule. Pacers display race flagging for easy identification and will help maintain target splits. Refer to the event schedule for your wave and intended pacing target times.

What times are you open?Watchtree Nature Reserve’s operational hours are 9 am-4.45 pm. (Our car park is locked at 5pm) Members can access the reserve after these times using their access code. Watchtree Cafe is open 9 am – 4:30 pmWatchtree Wheelers is open 9 am – 4:30 pm (last hire 3:30 pm)We are only closed for three days of the year: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. How much is it to visit Watchtree?Visiting Watchtree is free, as is parking, however, if you choose to hire one of our bikes there is a charge per person click here to find out more. Currently all cycle hire should be be pre-booked online, using the following link:Cycle Hire What facilities are there?See our Cafe & Visitor’s centre page for details. Do you have a map?See our Maps & Trails page for details. Is Watchtree dog friendly?Very much so, however, as we are a Nature Reserve we stress, dogs must be on a lead at all times during your visit. Can I bring my own bike?Yes, you are more than welcome to; we ask that you wear a helmet when you are on the reserve. If you hire one of our bikes, helmets are mandatory.
