The Wellington Urban Ultra (WUU2K) is an annual trail running event that takes runners through some of the most picturesque trails surrounding the city, with hills that challenge even seasoned runners. The event offers multiple distances and includes aid stations with food, drink, and first-aid support.
On-course aid stations provide Neversecond Nutrition, Coke (can run low), water, sweets, chips, biscuits, sandwiches (mixed), oranges, bananas, sunblock, and first-aid. No cups are available at aid stations—bring a vessel to drink from.
Pacemaker / Pacer groups are defined in the registration form and the ‘Renntag for Laufende’ schedule: 21Km start wave 9:00 am; 45Km start wave 7:00 am. Check-in includes compulsory gear checks. Follow the posted pace groups on race day; early starts apply if you are in a faster wave.
