About
The Yeti Adventure Challenge in Silkeborg is Denmark’s premier adventure race and the host of the European Adventure Racing Championships. The event features the Master (European Championships) and Challenge/Fighter courses through a varied landscape of lakes, moors, hills, forests and coastlines, starting and finishing in Silkeborg centre.
Catering & aid stations
Food and drink is served at the finish and during the race at designated aid stations (cold and hot options, water and sports drinks).
Pacers
Pacemakers/Pacers are used for the Master distance. Pacers are announced on the race day schedule: registration mentions reserved start waves and the Renntag programme specifies target times per wave and Pacerflaggen; expect 2–6 pacing sentences per wave briefing.

FAQ
What is the refund policy?
Registration fees are normally non-refundable but the entry can be sold. Organizers create a waiting list for buyer/seller contact. 50% refund is possible if cancellation is submitted in writing before 18 June (for 2021 edition). For 2020/2021, full refunds apply if the organizer cancels, or if more than 50% of the team cannot travel to Denmark/Silkeborg due to travel restrictions (not for infection/contact or quarantine).
How many people can participate?
Teams consist of 4 members (mixed gender recommended for European title). Minimum 3/4 members must be from the same European nationality.
What equipment is mandatory?
Depends on discipline (see equipment page). For Master: full headlamp, survival blanket, whistle, red rear light, white front light, waterproof jacket, satellite communicator where required. All technical and mandatory gear per discipline are listed on the equipment page.
