The Zion Half Marathon is designed to move you through the landscape, not just past it — from Virgin through the Virgin River and toward Springdale, with dramatic sandstone walls and canyon views the whole way. It’s a steady, intentional route that rewards you with a finish just outside one of the most iconic national parks in the country.
Water stations every 2–3 miles; electrolyte drinks every 5 miles; medical support at 10K and finish; restrooms at start, 5K, 10K, and finish.
Pacemaker groups will be formed based on pre-registered target times provided at registration. Pacers will lead their respective groups from the start and maintain even pacing—flag crews will be visible at key checkpoints. Registration must be completed and target time selected to be assigned to a pacer group.
