Yes, you can switch races, however we do not refund the difference in your registration fee. Can I switch my race?
Yes, you can switch races, however we do not refund the difference in your registration fee. And you chose to switch to a longer distance, you will need to pay the difference in fee at the time you switch.
Can I get a refund or defer my registration?
As stated at the time of registration, the Lubbock Marathon is unable to offer any form of refund or transfer of race entry to other runners.
Where should I park?
Free parking is available at:Lubbock Memorial Civic Center 1501 Mac Davis Ln. Lubbock ,TX 79401
How Do I Get to the Start Line?
From the free participant parking lot you can take the free Citi Bus shuttle or walk to the staging area by the Start Line. The start & finish lines are located a mile away from participant parking. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE TO THE START/FINSH LINES. Roads around the start/finish line will be closed to ensure the safety of participants, spectators, and volunteers.
Can I walk the race?
Yes, you can, walk run, or skip. The race course limit is 6.5 hours, at which time the course will re-open to vehicle traffic.Marathon cutoff: You must start your second lap by 11:30am.
ARE STROLLERS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE?
Yes, strollers are permitted, but please start near the back to ensure the safety of all participants.
ARE PETS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE?
No. We ask that you leave your furry friends at home due to the tripping hazard created by leashes in large crowds of runners
Is there gear check?
Yes, gear check is available to add on for a $5 fee during registration. At Packet Pickup you will receive a tag to attach to your bag. Gear check will be available near the start/finish lines at the race. THE SWAG BAG YOU RECEIVE AT PPU MUST BE USED FOR GEAR CHECK ALONG WITH THE TAG ATTACHED.
