What to expect
What makes this race distinct — for training and race day.
Since 2007, runners of all ages have joined together each November on the Sunday before Thanksgiving to Run to Stay Warm – a perfect name to acknowledge the event’s purpose from the beginning: to get people out running or walking (usually on one of the chilliest mornings of the year) with the knowledge that the miles they complete are for a bigger cause: to raise money for EWEB’s Customer Care Program.
Catering & aid stations
Water and Gatorade are provided at each aid station. In addition GU is provided at the final three aid stations of the half marathon. Strawberry, vanilla and chocolate flavors are at all three stations (strawberry is caffeine-free; vanilla and chocolate both have 40mg of caffeine).
Pacers
Pacers for the Half Marathon will be provided for the following times: 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, 2:30. Thank you to Run Hub NW for providing pacers!
