Über die Veranstaltung

The Gran Sasso Ultra Marathon is an iconic Italian mountain trail event organized by A.S.D. Marathon Club Manoppello Sogeda, recognized by UISP and FIDAL. The 50 km race features a challenging mountain loop with around 900 m of elevation gain, traversing historic villages and asphalt paths, with full support, medical and hydration stations along the route.

Verpflegung & Versorgung

Ristoro lungo il percorso: solidi (pane, crackers, dolci, uvetta), liquidi (Coca Cola, acqua minerale e sali minerali) e frutta (banane e anguria) posizionati ogni 5 km. Aree ristoro dotate di contenitori per smaltire rifiuti (bottiglie, barrette, fazzoletti). Non sono previsti spugnaggi.

Pacer

Pacemakers are announced for each start wave on the event day (Renntag) and will wear Pacer flag bibs; they set target times per wave to help runners maintain goal pace.
