Do you have a refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If a registered runner is unable to attend, they may cancel their entry and receive a partial refund in the form of race credit. We do not provide full refund due to the non-recoverable expenses that go into race preparation. Refund amounts are determined by the date of withdrawal and follow this tiered structure. You will also have the option of purchasing insurance who you can work with to receive a full refund at any point. This will protect both us and you from any non-recoverable costs. 120+ days before race day: 75% refund 90-119 days before race day: 50% credit 60-89+ days before race day: 25% credit Less than 30 days before race day: No credit available. We only offer full refunds under special circumstances such as, pregnancy (see below).

Yes! Waitlists will be added to all 2026 events.

Question 3

Do you have a pregnancy DeFeRral Policy?

Accepted Answer

Yes! No questions asked. We’ll work with you on a refund or defer your entry to a different year/event. This policy extends to both partners and applies if: They adopt a child under the age of 5 in the time between the runner entering the race and the deferral deadline.The runner or their partner becomes pregnant after entering the race.The runner or their partner gives birth to a child in the time between the runner entering the race and the deferral deadline.

Do you have a non-binary and or Transgender Category?

Transgender and non-binary runners are encouraged to participate! We will accept every transgender and non-binary runner’s self-declared gender category at registration and no one may challenge a runner’s self-declaration.

Question 5

How do I change my Race distance?

Accepted Answer

You have the ability to move from one distance to another prior to the event. If you would like to downgrade to a shorter distance, you can, but you will not receive a refund (and cannot change it back on your own). If you would like to upgrade, your original order is removed and you will be issued a credit to re-register for another distance, AT THE PRICE OF THE OTHER DISTANCE ON THE DATE OF THE ORIGINAL ORDER. You will be directed to re-register.

Are your races new parent friendly?

All of our races have a pregnancy deferral or refund policy. Twisted Fork will provide heavily subsidized Child-Care. Visit our Child-Care program page for more information. At this time, the Antelope Island Races will not have childcare.

Will volunteers receive anything for their time?

Accepted Answer
