Chicago’s iconic St. Patrick’s Day race weekend — an 8K through downtown Grant Park to kick off the outdoor running season, with a 2‑Mile Walk and The Mile available.

The 8K Run starts at 8:30 a.m., The Mile (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m., and the 2-Mile Walk starts at 9:30 a.m. on race day.

Can I walk the 8K?

Yes, participants can maintain a 30:00/mile pace for the 2-Mile Walk; walkers must be capable of completing the distance within the 1-hour time limit.
