Kick It Events Management is a small family owned business producing outstanding events in Asheville and the surrounding area. Our company launched in 2014, but our journey of becoming running event production coordinators begins much earlier.

Oskar Blues Brewery — full snack and beverage service available. On-course hydration and light snacks provided at aid stations.
Pacer
Pacemakers are identified by Pacerflaggen on the start line and target times per Startwelle listed on the event’s start order (available at the packet pickup and online). Pacers help runners maintain goal pace; draft positioning is assigned at the start line and may vary by wave.

FAQ
What time do the races start?
The 10K starts at 10:00 AM and the 5K starts at 10:15 AM on race day (Saturday, November 14, 2026). Packet pick-up is 9:00–10:00 AM.
Are strollers allowed during the race?
Strollers are not allowed during the race for safety and insurance compliance. Service animals must have prior approval (email info@kickitevents.com >5 days before race) and supporting documentation.
What is the age cut-off for awards?
Age group awards are given to top 3 male, nonbinary, and female times in categories 0–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+.
Can I transfer my registration?
You may transfer to a virtual runner up to 5 days before the event or to another runner/distance up to 5 days before. After the 5-day cut-off, contact Info@KickItEvents.com. A $10 fee applies for transfers to a virtual runner after 11/10/2025.
Is there a refund policy?
No refunds if you signed up by mistake, for injury or illness, work or event conflicts, or if the event needs to be postponed. If the event is canceled due to a pandemic, national health emergency, state of emergency, or catastrophic event, there will be no refunds. The organizer’s event insurance may provide alternatives.
