Über die Veranstaltung
A community running event and celebration of life honoring Benjamin Lee Silver, organized to raise money and awareness for mental health research and suicide prevention. It features a 1-mile race open to all abilities and a community festival.

No on-course catering; available at the Fishel Park festival area.
Pacer
Pace groups are defined on race day at the start: open/walking mile (slower than 6:30 per mile pace), elite mile (6:30 per mile pace or faster). Pacers will lead their respective waves to help runners maintain target times; volunteer pacers will be stationed along the course.

When and where does the race start?
The race starts at 6:30 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Fishel Park (1036 Grove Street, Downers Grove, IL 60515).
How much does it cost to register?
Registration is $20 up to July 8, 2026, and $25 after July 8 or on race day. Same-day registration is available at the event.
Is there parking available?
There is free street parking in downtown Downers Grove. Do not park on the course or on Grove Street at Fishel Park.
