Über die Veranstaltung

A community-focused gravel and mountain bike event in Svendborg, Denmark, featuring three scenic routes through forests, basalt quarries, and historic sites with self-guided time tracking and support zones.

Verpflegung & Versorgung

Aid stations every ~20–25 km on all routes with bananas, juice, energy drinks, water, and cake (25 km: bananas, juice, energy drink, water, cake; 20 km before BUMS/BISSE: bananas, juice, water, energy drink, cake; finish: bananas, juice, energy drink, cake, water). Food available for purchase on-site at Frederiksø.

Pacer

The event uses self-held timing chips and live results rather than pace vehicles. Three start waves are published on the results site to support riders wanting to compare times: SVEND at 11:00, BUMS at 10:30, BISSE at 09:30. All participants share the same course surface and timing rules; use your own GPS or the published Strava segments for comparison.

Do I need to be competitive to participate?

No — the event is community-oriented with no podium prizes. All participants receive recorded times via self-tagging at the finish.

Can I ride an e-bike?

Yes, e-bikes are welcome on all routes.

What happens if I don’t finish?

There are no penalties; route support and aid stations remain available. Turn around whenever needed and record your time by tagging at the finish if possible.
