Über die Veranstaltung

WA’s premier mountain bike event, featuring world-class cross-country single track through ancient jarrah forests, river crossings and scenic bushland. The event also hosts the Oceania Mountain Bike Marathon Championships and offers multiple distances for trail runners (21km, 12km, 6km) alongside the iconic 100km mountain bike course.

Pacer

Pacers will be present at the following start waves on race day: 7km Wave at 07:00, 12km Wave at 07:30, 21km Wave at 08:00, 6km Doggie Dash Wave at 08:00, 100km Wave at 09:00. Each pacer will run their stated distance and pace; in most cases, pacers will remain with their group for the majority of the event.

FAQ

What is the minimum age to participate?

Minimum ages vary by distance: 19 for the 100km MTB, 17 for the 70km MTB, 16 for the 40km MTB, 15 for the 21km trail run, 14 for the 12km trail run, and 8 for the 6km trail run and Doggie Dash. All children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult on course.

Are e-bikes allowed?

E-bikes are only allowed in the Wallaby (53km MTB) and Joey (27km MTB) events and must be specified during registration. Riders on e-bikes are not eligible for awards.

Is an AusCycling license required?

Yes — all riders must hold a valid AusCycling license (annual membership or a 4-week free trial). This will be checked during rider check-in.

What is the DBCA park fee?

A mandatory DBCA fee of $7 per participant aged 17 and older on event day is included in the entry fee. Participants aged 16 or under receive an automatic $7 discount at checkout.
