The Chudleigh Classic Road Race is now powered by City Runs—delivering a scenic, challenging 5-mile road race through beautiful Devon countryside with a rich community atmosphere. The race also includes a fun run option and supports local charity.
Pacer
Pacemakers will be provided for the Classic 5 mile race to help runners achieve target split times per Startwave. Pacers display race flag colors for easy identification—refer to the event’s Renntag schedule for exact pacer assignments and wave times.

What is the race limit and entry fee for the Chudleigh Classic?
Race limit is TBC. Entry fee is £25 (or €23) for England Athletics license holders; minimum age is 15.
When do start times occur for the Classic and Fun Run?
Fun Run starts at 6:30 pm; Classic starts at 7:15 pm.
What are the timing rules for results and awards?
Chip and gun times are provided; finish times are rounded up to the nearest full second as per UKA rule 165. Results are published when available and may be used for Power of 10 and Run Britain Rankings.
Is the course certified and marked?
Yes. The course is officially measured and certified (certificate available). The route is fully signed and marshalled.
What are the registration and transfer rules?
Pre-race official transfers are allowed where indicated; non-official number swaps are prohibited. Medical conditions should be disclosed to the organizer in advance.
What is the event’s approach to sustainability?
The event minimizes environmental impact by offering race pack pickup on the day, using compostable cups, encouraging recycling of race numbers, and promoting sustainable travel such as car sharing.
Are pets or bicycles allowed?
No dogs or accompanying cycles are permitted due to insurance restrictions.
Is headphone use allowed?
Only bone-conducting headphones are permitted under UK Athletics rules where the route is shared with other users.
