On July 26, 2023, the Maywood City Council established the Maywood Youth Commission with the goal of increasing understanding and awareness of the issues affecting youth in our community. This commission is dedicated to developing leadership skills, promoting social responsibility among youth, and encouraging their active involvement in community development and city governance.
