We’re here to provide journalists with latest news information and statistics about lung cancer, provide patient case studies and supply charity spokespeople and comments on relevant news stories. As the UK’s biggest lung cancer charity – and only charity solely dedicated to supporting everyone affected by the disease – we can offer expert guidance and opinions on issues surrounding lung cancer and the impact it has on people’s lives. Over 49,000 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK every year. This equates to approx. 130 people every day.

On-course refreshments provided by the café at Delamere Forest visitor centre — hot and cold drinks and light snacks available.

Pacer

Pacemaker / Pacer targets are set per start wave on the race day schedule: 5k start 10:00; 10k start 09:45; 16k start 09:30; Junior Race start 10:10. Pacers will lead their respective start waves at target times and will carry Pacer flag identifiers — follow the paced group for your selected distance on the day.
